photo 4.PNG-5If you’re feeling a bit crafty you can make this fun tug toy in a matter of 15 minutes.

IMG_4719.PNGAll you need for this project is some rockin’ fleece and a pair of scissors…..and……

IMG_4720…and assistant who made himself all too comfortable on the table.

Step 1. Remove Mr Twix from the table.

Step 2. Cut four strips of fleece. 18″ long by 1.5″ wide.

Step 3. Lay out your four strips.

Step 4. tie all four strips together in a tight knot.

Step 5. Spread all four strips.

Step 6. Braiding four strips is the same as braiding three with a right over right and left over left pattern…except for one thing. Taking your right hand grab the furthest strip on the right and cross it over the ONE STRIP next to it. There will now be three strips on the left and one on the right.

Step 7. Taking your left hand grab the furthest strip on the left and cross it over the TWO STRIPS next to it. There will now be TWO STRIPS strips on the left and TWO STRIPS on the right.  Repeat the same pattern of crossing over one strip from the right and two strips from the left.

Step 8. Work your way towards the ends leaving room to tie a tight knot in the end.

Voila! Your four strand tug toy is now ready for your dog to play with.

I’d love to win this then I could teach my brother Archer how to play because he doesn’t know how. We could have so much fun playing together ..

I would love to win this for Joy, because she loves to chew on things, usually things she shouldn’t be chewing on at all. She would love something to chew that wouldn’t cause me to say – drop it.

My Rio and McKenzie would love something like this because it’s so hot outside and they need something new to play with!
