Animal Testing ~ What You Need To Know And How To Live Cruelty Free

Beagle Freedom Project

The topic of animal testing popped up in conversation yesterday. There’s so much to know and animal lovers want to help, so here’s an instant replay of my show with Monique Hanson of the Beagle Freedom Project.  Monique opens up the mystery of animal testing and how far the Beagle Freedom Project organization has come and where it’s heading.

Timmy ~ Beagle Freedom Project

Her own dog Timmy came from a lab and was liberated by the Beagle Freedom Project to go on to be an ambassador in raising awareness of the terrible business of animal testing. You can visit Timmy’s Facebook page by clicking this link. As you can see life got a whole lot better since choosing his human family. We can all agree that animal testing needs to completely disappear. It has no place in our society and we can effect a change by choosing to purchase cruelty free products. I know you will find this interview one that will have you thinking differently about the products that you use on a daily basis and it’s not that hard to make the change.

Enjoy the show ~ Sam, The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll Dogs

THANK YOU for raising awareness of such an important and often silent topic. I’ve been using natural products for many years and only support companies with strong ethical principles including ‘no animal testing’.

It is quite a silent topic and Beagle Freedom Project are making huge strides in raising awareness. They’re an impressive organization.

Excellent interview! This is an interesting topic. It’s not one that comes up often where I live (Michigan). I might have to do some digging into this. It would be pretty neat to have a discussion about how animal testing affects cats on my site.

Absolutely…they use more than dogs and mice. Please let me know when you write about it in regards to cats.

I agree with you 100 percent , thanks for raising awareness. If people would just do their homework they would know that computer simulation and human cell research is much more accurate than testing on animals . If Tylenol were tested on dogs it would have never been introduced to the public ! Dogs are not the same as people and it is inaccurate and cruel . Ok off my soap box. 🙂

It sounds like the labs treat dogs in a similar way that puppy mills do, and that is really sad and terrible.

Jim is the biggest fan of the app Monique. We’ve made massive changes and it wasn’t hard at all.
