October is my favourite month for many reasons but there’s one special reason and that’s Pamper Your Pet Day! My friends over at Chapman Chrysler Jeep are celebrating with their 4th annual Pamper Your Pet Day in honour of Adopt A Shelter Dog Month and National Pet Wellness Month. It’s a day to celebrate our pets, highlight animal adoptions and pet wellness.
The event kicks off at 10am Saturday, October 14th where the first 100 attendees receive a swag bag of goodies, isn’t that fabulous?
Let me tell you why Pamper Your Pet Day is popular amongst pet lovers and their pets. First of all, it’s free to attend, it’s located in a cool location, and it’s created by people who love animals and value the bond we have with them.
Here’s what you can expect with a look at last year’s event.
Once again I have the great honour of hosting the event. It’s a privilege for Vegas Rock Dog Radio to spend the day with people who truly love and care about animals.
Last year’s Halloween Costume Contest was the highlight of the event and we know there’s going to be some creative entries this year. Your pampered pooch gets a chance to dress up and win prizes for Best Dressed, Like Pet, Like Owner, Most Original, Most Creative, and Best Overall.
If you’re looking to do a little shopping for pet products and services you’ll be impressed with the on-site vendors.

Michael’s Angel Paws. This past week Michael’s Angel Paws’ teams have comforted our city with their therapy dogs. I’m so glad they’re at the event once again. If you’re interested in therapy dog training, need services, or would like make a donation pay them a visit.
Throughout the event enjoy live music, radio promotions, Facebook live shows, and chances to win amazing raffle prizes and giveaways from companies like Sleepy Pod.
Be on the lookout for Odie of Odie’s Eyes. He’ll be at his booth giving pawtographs and Odie is a rescued no-eyed Shih-Tzu seeing the world in his own unique way, where love is blind. He’s an inspiration.
Want To Connect With Your Pet?
Alicia Halloran of Healing Habitat is holding mini animal communication sessions, donating any proceeds to the rescues involved.
You’re bound to work up an appetite while having so much fun and Chapman Chrysler Jeep has you covered with food vendors and a bake sale benefitting our local animal shelter.
As you can see Chapman Chrysler Jeep planned a truly special day for all to enjoy.
Think about how much happiness our pets bring into our lives. Pamper Your Pet Day is the perfect way to celebrate them and give them even more love. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday my goal is to get at least 100 puppy kisses and selfies.
