A Magical Day At Santa Paws
A magical day at Santa Paws ~ Let me tell you about Santa Paws! Can you believe how cute this little peanut is all bundled up in a festive sweater? Well, he was one of many dogs who attended the Santa Paws event at the Magical Forest in Las Vegas.
What is Santa Paws you may be asking? Santa Paws is an event hosted by Opportunity Village, it’s a magical event for pets and their pet parents. This afternoon occasion features local pet vendors, animal adoptions and demonstrations. The Magical Forest is a winter wonderland with endless holiday cheer, and a fun way to celebrate the holidays with your pets.
Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization serving children and adults in the southern Nevada community with intellectual disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village is dedicated to helping people become the very best they can be.
Pets and their pet parents met with Santa for their holiday photos, and rode on Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel and The Forest Express Passenger Train. It’s an affordable event with pets receiving free admission and their parents paying a small admission fee of $5.
Marnie Gambit, Director of corporate Engagement and Relations contacted me with a vendor invite. I of course happily accepted. Santa Paws is Opportunity Village’s second annual event. I see this event growing year by year and soon becoming the must go to pet event of the holiday season. You will without a doubt see us there next year.
As you can see from my photos, it was a beautiful warm sunny day. Simply perfect for an outside pet event. Many of our friends came by as first time visitors and loved it. It was a special feeling knowing that the mini theme park was just for our furry family members.
I met some lovely pet lovers including Claudia of the Greyhound Gang and photographer Tracey Capobianco Ranauro.
My little pal Odie came in his pimped out ride and had fun riding the green dragon.
As I said earlier I met photographer Tracey Capobianco Ranauro. I’m closing out this post with some of her adorable photos…enjoy!
